Battle of the Bags

Two local businesses came together this past Saturday to host the 1st Annual Corn Hole Against Hunger: Battle of the Bags, cornhole tournament that benefited the Two Harbors Food Shelf.

Draftseason.com and  North Shore Memorials sponsored the event, which was held at the home of Curt and Christina Cavallin. Each person attending the event was asked to bring non perishable food items to be donated to the Food Shelf in exchange for raffle tickets for a fabulous prize.

The team of Ryan Endicott and Carl Soderberg won the 20 team tournament in dominating fashion. A large quantity of food was collected for the food shelf along with a cash donation. The hope is to turn this into an annual event and get an even bigger turnout in the future.
