Welcome to the first mock draft of the 2013 season. I have included underclassmen and have based the draft order based loosely on projections and last years standings. Be sure to let your voice be heard on the comments and or vote for each pick. Also remember to follow me on Twitter @Matt_Falk

| Analysis: It isn’t a secret that the Jags seem overly sketchy on Blaine Gabbert. Unless Gabbert shows huge improvement in year 2 look for the Jags to try once again in round 1 at the quarterback position. | |||||||

| Analysis: Wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see the USC boys go 1 and 2 at this point. Although the Colts need to focus on the defensive side of the ball, adding Woods with Luck might just be to tempting. | |||||||

Cleveland Browns | Star Lotulelei | Utah | DT | 6’4 | 320 |
| Analysis: The Browns have done a great job rebuilding the defensive side of the ball in the past few years. Lotulelei could be the final piece to the puzzle. Adding Lotulelei next to Taylor in the middle would give the Browns a core for the next handful of years. | |||||||

| Analysis: Seattle has invested early picks in the past few years to the defensive side of the ball and could very well continue the trend in 2013. Mingo can play a few spots on defense and could be the most elusive defenders in the 2013 NFL Draft. | |||||||

| Analysis: This is pretty much a do or die season for Kevin Kolb. Wilson possesses a strong and accurate arm who projects to be NFL ready day 1. Depending on how he preforms this year he could battle Barkley for the title of best quarterback in the 2013 NFL Draft. | |||||||

Miami Dolphins | Jarvis Jones | Georgia | LB/DE | 6’3 | 241 |
| Analysis: Jarvis Jones could offer a Von Miller type impact as a rookie. The Fins have Cameron Wake locked up for the future and adding a Jones type player could give Miami a very scary combo rushing from the outside. | |||||||

| Analysis: Seems like the Rams miss out on the top tier receivers every year. If they are in the running to get a guy like Woods or Allen it is almost a must they grab one of them. Last years 2nd round pick Quick helped stock the cupboard but Allen is on another level. | |||||||

| Analysis: Hands down the best cornerback prospect for 2013. Amerson has the ideal size and speed to be a shut down corner in the NFL. Great hands and a true playmaker who would instantly be thrown into the Raiders starting secondary. | |||||||

| Analysis: Jones can literally play any position on the offensive line, and play them at a high level. Jones could slide in on the left side next to Saffold to help anchor the offensive line. Not only does he give the Rams the left guard they need, but also adds depth at all other positions on the O-line. | |||||||

| Analysis: A little high for Te’o at this point but to large of a need for the Vikings to pass on. The Vikings have Jasper Brinkley slated to start and is very thin behind him. Te’o could be the type to lead a defense from day 1. | |||||||

| Analysis: With the offense headed in the right direction the Panthers need to look to the defensive side of the ball. Montgomery is guy who could easily go top 5 and with his pass rush skills could instantly upgrade any defense. | |||||||

| Analysis: This will be a big year for Derrick Morgan and the Titans, will he show the potential they had hoped? If they decide to move on, Werner could be a pefect fit, great against the run and can also get to the quarterback, untapped potential. | |||||||

| Analysis: Tyrann Mathieu gets a much lower grade than he should. Sure he is only 5’9 but he plays like he is 6’2. The Bucs are no strangers to small corners who can make an impact (Barber = 5’10). | |||||||

| Analysis: The Chiefs have a great young roster but are missing one of the most important pieces, a reliable quarterback. Even if Cassell has a good year, they need to look to the future in this quarterback rich draft. | |||||||

| Analysis: I think the Jets give Shonn Greene one more year to prove if he can be a feature back. If he fails to impress I think it would be well worth the first round pick to add a true number back to the offense. Lattimore is a better version of Greene, hits the hole hard and runs tough. | |||||||

| Analysis: McDonald surprised many when he decided to return to USC last year. Another good year and he could solidify himself as the best safety in the class. Cincy has a few youngsters to go along with Reggie Nelson but an upgrade is necessary when you are in the same division as Flacco and Roethlisberger. | |||||||
