Lups Round 3 (Picks 82-96)

82. Arizona Cardinals - Derek Wolfe DE, Cincinnatie
The Cardinals are very thin at end behind Campbell and they take Kiper’s boy here.

83. Dallas Cowboys - Joe Looney G, Wake Forest
The Cowboys added a couple nondescript guards in free agency and now and a young one in the third.

84. Tennessee Titans – Antonio Allen S, South Carolina
The Titans coudl use some young depth at safety and take this rangy safety from the other USC.

85. Cincinnati Bengals – Chris Rainey RB, Florida
The Bengals take this versatile and explosive back to compliment The Lawfirm.

86. Atlanta Falcons - Tyrone Crawford DE, Boise St.
The Falcons were able to resign Abraham but young depth is needed.

87. Detroit Lions - Ben Jones C, Oklahoma
The Lions need a new center and Jones is one mean, nasty blocker.

88. Pittsburgh Steelers - Mike Martin NT, Michigan
The Steelers are looking for nose tackle to replace Hampton.  Mission accomplished.

89. Denver Broncos – Brock Osweiler QB, ASU
The Broncos now have Manning and hope to get a few seasons out of him, and while they do that they can groom Ossie as his replacement.

90. Philadelphia Eagles (From Houston) - Terell Manning OLB, NC St.
The Eagles still could use a young outside linebacker.

91. New Orleans Saints - Nigel Bradham OLB, FSU
The Saints addressed all their needs in free agency but still feel the need to add to their bounty here.

92. Green Bay Packers - George Iloka S, Boise St.
The Packers have to be worried about Nick Collins future after that neck injury and they are thin at the position.

93. Baltimore Ravens - Markelle Martin S, Oklahoma St.
The Ravens are deathly thin at safety.  Martin is a thumper who will bring physicality to the Ravens secondary.

94. San Francisco 49ers - Billy Winn DE, Boise St.
The 9ers get a little mroe depth at end with this versatile big boy.

95. New England Patriots - Dwight “Dierks” “Bill” Bentley CB, La-Lafayette
The Pats secondary is currently littered with underachievers.  They’ll hope Bentley can turn into a consistent player for them.

96. New York Giants – Michael Egnew TE, Mizzou
The Giants were ravaged by injuries at tight end last season.  Engew can catch a lot of Eli’s balls but if they ask him to block then Eli is likely a dead man.

97. Oakland Raiders -Sean Spence OLB, Miami
The Raiders finally get to play and add a little depth at linebacker.

on to Round 4

Discussion

  1. Frank :

Wallace and Gilmore…both studs at WR and CB. 3rd rounder should be an OG…even if Niners re-sign Snyder, they still need a better OG to complete their OL. Ryan Miller, Nix or Washington would be likely candidates.
