Lups Round 2 (Picks 50-64)

50. Chicago Bears - Zach Brown OLB, UNC
The Bears are very old at the linebacker position and Brown doesn’t have the typical Chicago Bears toughness but he makes up for that with his speed.

51. Philadelphia Eagles  - Kirk Cousins QB, Michigan St.
The Eagles have been linked numerous times to taking a QB surprisingly early in this draft.  Cousins is a guy who is quielty sneaking up boards all across the world.

52. Tennessee Titans - Vinny Curry DE, Marshall
The Titans lost finnegan in free agency and take this ball hawking corner to help heal that sore.

53. Cincinnati Bengals - AJ Jenkins WR, Illinois
The Bengals got AJ Green last year and now land AJ Jenkins.  Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

54. Detroit Lions - Josh Robinson CB, UCF
The Lions need a corner, and Robinson is uber fast and should be able to keep up with all those fine pass catchers in the NFC North.

55. Atlanta Falcons - Trumaine Johnson CB, Montana
The Falcons need a little more help in their secondary especially with the QBs they face in their division.  Johnson has great size and speed and has a receivers bravado.

56. Pittsburgh Steelers - Lamar Miller RB, Miami
There are rumblings out of Steelerland that Mendenhall may not ever play another snap for the team. There are also rumblings he’ll play in 2012.  Either way another back should be added, and they’d be lucky to get one the caliber of Miller.

57. Denver Broncos – LaMichael James RB, Oregon
The Broncos need to find a young back to pair with Willis McGahee.  James is the perfect fit as his explosion and pass catching prowess are two things not in McGahee’s skill set.

58. Houston Texans - Alameda Ta’Amu DT, Washington
The Texans defense was expotentially improved last season.  Ta’Amu could play nose or end in their 3-4 and is quite nimble for a such a large human.

59. New Orleans Saints – PICK TAKEN AWAY
The Emperor took this pick away from the Saints for their heinous bounty crimes.

60. Green Bay Packers – Kendall Reyes DE, UCONN
The Packers missed Cullen Jenkins more then they’d like to admit last season, so here they take a guy who can fill his pants.  Reyes is a borderline first round talent who just happens to slip through the cracks.

61. Baltimore Ravens – Mychal Kendricks LB, CAL
The Ravens almost go safety here, but instead take the higher ranked player in Kendricks.  Kendricks jumped a few rounds on my board after a great combine.  He comes to Baltimore to learn from Ray Lewis and then take his job.

62. San Francisco 49ers – Jeff Allen G, Illinois
The 9ers address their need at guard with Allen who some think can eventually become a starting caliber tackle in this league.

63. New England Patriots - Brandon Taylor S, LSU
The Pats secondary needs a lot of help and taking this battle tested SEC guy should definitely help.

64. New York Giants - Bobby Massie OT, Ole Miss
The Giants offensive line has been ravaged by injuries, age, and they know winter is coming.  Massie could possibly become a capable left tackle worst case he is an above average right.
