In a Herschel Walker type trade the Redskins have given up first round picks in 2012, 2013, 2014 and a 2nd round pick in 2012 to move up to the 2nd pick overall in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Rams cash in only moving down 4 spots and most likely still getting the guy they have wanted the entire time (Justin Blackmon). Sure it is an assload to give up, but it is a win win for both teams. The Redskins get their franchise quarterback they have been looking for and the Rams get assets to build their team for the future. With this trade the first 3 picks are pretty much written in stone, 1. Luck, 2. RGIII, 3. Kalil …. the fun should start when the Browns get on the board with pick 4.
