Baltimore Ravens-DE
The injury to Terrell Suggs has devastated the pass rush of the Baltimore Ravens. During the preseason, the Ravens have only reached the QB five times, and one was just because the Jaguars had a miscommunication and left Haloti Ngata unblocked. If the Ravens are going to survive the transition to a Ray Lewis-less defense in a few years, they will need to average more than 1.5 sacks a game.
Cincinnati Bengals-LB
The Bengals don’t have a lot of needs, but they could use a playmaker at LB. With Manti Te’o coming out I could see Cincinnati making a move for him because he has the versatility to play outside or inside and the quickness to be on the field in any situation.
Cleveland Browns- DE
The Browns have been even worse than the Ravens when pressuring quarterbacks. With an abysmal one sack this preseason, the Browns may very well end up in a position to draft Barkevious Mingo, Sam Montgomery, or Jarvis Jones any of which would instantly become the most dangerous pass rusher in Cleveland.
Pittsburgh Steelers- LT
Mike Adams is not the solution at LT and it is becoming increasingly obvious that he is going to get someone hurt if he keeps protecting Big Ben’s blindside. The Steelers are a fifty-fifty proposition to make the playoffs this year, and the future of the franchise is in question with an aging defense still the face of this team. If the Steelers want to survive the uprising of the young Bengals keeping Ben healthy has to be the top priority.
