The Ultimate Mock Draft consists of all DraftSeason staff members bringing their draft minds together to compile a full first round mock. Each member takes turns throughout the first round to grab the best available option for that specific team. Check back as this will be updated the beginning of each month, as the draft gets closer we will continue to add additional rounds.

Other 2013 NFL Mock Drafts: Matt Falk | Will Lomas | Nik Edlund
Analysis: Jarvis has been a relentless force on the edge, and has registered at least one sack in every game he has played in this season, except against the exceptional offensive line of Tennessee. I believe that Jarvis can play defensive end in a 4-3 scheme, and if he can learn to use inside counter moves I think that the Von Miller comparisons will be spot on. |

Analysis: The Chiefs clearly don’t have their quarterback of the future on the current roster. Smith is the hot item right now at quarterback and would help rejuvinate a sputtering team/offense and most importantly fanbase. |

Analysis: The Panthers need playmakers for Cam Cam but there isn’t a receiver worth taking this high so they take this Star who is so big they may need to start calling him galaxy. |

Analysis: I think in the real world Cleveland would seriously consider trading into this spot and letting Jacksonville steal Smith away from KC, however if they couldn’t reach a deal Montgomery isn’t a bad consolation prize. “Sonic Sam” is the best pure 4-3 DE in the draft in my opinion. Montgomery can anchor the run, and he can get to the quarterback if you need him too. On top of that he seems like a spark plug on the field, and Jacksonville’s defensive line definitely needs someone to light a fire under them. |

Analysis: The Raiders have some good pieces in place on their defensive line. Mingo would help take the line to the next level. Very solid pass rusher at 6’5, 240 lbs, needs to polish his game versus the run but would help take this defensive line to the next level. |

Analysis: The Saints defense is absolutely horrid, and a charasmatic, young, hard hitting new leader would be a God send. |

Analysis: Joeckel has the size, strength, and athleticism to play on either side of the offensive line. This move would help make Matt Stafford more comfortable in the pocket, while also giving their running game a boost. |

Analysis: Geathers is 30 and Michael Johnson is a free agent who could be looking to cash in. Werner is a blue chip defensive end with a knack of getting his hands on the quarterback. The Bengals have larger needs but go for B.P.A. |

Analysis: I don’t know much, but I know Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the answer at QB for Buffalo. Barkley’s stock has dipped a bit this season but he still has all the tools needed to be a star QB in the NFL and will likely be a starter from day one. |

Analysis: The Bucs have had terrible luck over the past few years with talented defensive tackles. Brian Price was shipped off for (allegedly) attacking Mark Barron, and Gerald McCoy has been snake-bitten and constantly misses time with injuries. If the Bucs drafted Hankins they would gain a strong interior presence who commands double teams and McCoy could play full time as a disruptive 3-technique. |

Analysis: The Rams need to continue to add talent around Sam Bradford and the rest of the offense. St. Louis have a few pieces with Amendola and Quick but still seem to lack that true #1 receiver who can be a game changer. |

My philosophy has always been, you can’t have too many good DTs or corners, so this may be a possibility if the Tampa brain-trust thinks the value is there. I tend to think corner, however. NT Roy Miller has actually played well thus far this season.
