2nd Round Continued

44 Seattle Seahawks – Brandon Thompson DT, Clemson
The Seahawks defensive line has been irrelevant for years. They need to start from the ground up.

45 Philadelphia Eagles (from Cardinals) – Jared Crick DE, Nebraska
With Crick you know what you’re getting, hard nosed play maker who will give you 100% on each play.

46 Dallas Cowboys – Ronnell Lewis LB, Oklahoma
Lewis is a pass rusher who can play a handful of spots on defense.

47 Philadelphia Eagles – Dwight Jones WR, North Carolina
DeSean Jackson could be out the door, even if he does return Philly needs more depth and insurance at wide receiver.

48 New York Jets – Cordy Glenn G, Georgia
Glenn would be huge value in the middle of round 2. The Jets could afford to upgrade at guard.

49 New England (from Oakland) – Jayron Housley CB, Viriginia Tech
The Pats have invested heavily in the past few years in the secondary but could still look to improve.

50 San Diego Chargers – Andrew Datko OT, Florida St.
McNeil’s future is in question, look for the Bolts to grab some depth and possible insurance for Mcneil.

51 Chicago Bears – Kelechi Osemele OT/G, Iowa St.
Yes, the offensive line is still a big need for Chicago. Osemele gives the option to play 2 positions.

52 Tennessee Titans – Brandon Washington G, Miami
The Titans will be looking to upgrade the interior line in the first 3 rounds.

53 Cincinnati Bengals – Jeff Fuller WR, Texas A&M
A bit of a reach, but a needed reach, Simpson’s legal troubles will force the Bengals to look for a receiver early.

54 Cleveland Browns – Chris Polk RB, Washington
Pretty sure the Browns will be moving on from the Peyton Hillis drama.

55 Detroit Lions – Kevin Zeitler G, Wisconsin
We saw what the Lions could do with a healthy Stafford. Look for Detroit to continue to improve the offensive line.
